happy mothers day/voor mama

A black/white card for mothers day. I have chosen black/white scrappaper. I have colored the magnolia with different shades of gray markers, and the roses in red. After glueing the letters I decided to emphasis them with a shade of frost white.

Een zwart/wit kaartje voor mama. Als achtergrond heb ik een zwart/wit scrappapier gekozen. Het magnoliaatje is ingekleurd met verschillende grijze tinten stempelstiften. En de roosjes in vuurrood om ze extra in de kijker te zetten. Na het opplakken van de zwarte letters heb ik ze met color box frost white lichtjes bijgekleurd. (borsteltechniek)

Stamp the magnolia on shrink plastic. I have used a blender pen and dry chalk to color the shrink plastic. Shrink it with a heat gun or in the oven. I have chosen 2 colors of fluid chalk ink to stamp the word friends. Use diamond glaze to glue the shrink plastic on your card.

Stempel de magnolia op krimpfolie. Ik heb een blender pen gebruikt en chalk (droog) om de krimpfolie in te kleuren. Laten krimpen met je heatgun of in de oven. Ik heb 2 kleurtjes fluid chalk gekozen om het woord friends af te drukken. Gebruik diamond glaze om je krimpfolie op te kleven.

chalking on vellum/chalking op vellum

I have used this background technique but on vellum. find the tutorial here. The flower stamp is from a clear stamp set from artemio.

Ik heb gebruikt gemaakt van de achtergrond techniek op vellum. Je vindt de tutorial hier. Het bloemetje maakt deel uit van een clear stempelset van artemio.

I have used the "ghoststamping" technique to make a background for my text.

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de "ghoststamping" techniek om mijn achtergrond te maken voor mijn tekst.

A happy hopper birthday card. Stamped with versafine and colored both with Derwent pencils and markers.


Een happy hopper verjaardagskaartje. Gestempeld met versafine en ingekleurd met zowel Derwent potloden als stempelstiften.

Stamp the text with versamark and use dry chalk to emphasis a part of the text. Apply the chalk with a brush and remove the excess with a "swiffer" cloth. Stamp the big stamp with versafine gray and color with markers, punch out a part of the stamp.

Stempel de tekst met versamark en gebruik "droge chalk" om een stukje van de tekst te benadrukken. Breng de chalk aan met een penseel en verwijder het overtollige met een "swiffer" doekje. Stempel de grote stempel met grijze versafine en pons er een stukje van uit. Schilder met stempelstiften.

sitting on a window card/ letterbakkaartje

Stamp the magnolia and cut it out. Decorate the windowcard with stamps and pencils. Take 2 sheets of mica cut them to the size of the card. Glue one on your card with 3D glue. Add 3D glue on top of the mica sheet following the lines of the windows. Let dry, fill up with flowers and follow the lines again with 3G glue close with the second sheet. Let dry. Add a cuttlebug background and close your card.

Stempel de magnolia en knip haar uit. Versier het kaartje met stempels en potlood. Neem 2 op maat gesneden mica sheets. Kleef er één op de binnenkant van je kaart met 3D lijm. Lijn de venstertjes op de mica af met 3D lijm. Laat drogen. Vul met bloemetjes en lijn opnieuw af met 3D lijm. Kleef nu de tweede sheet op de 3D lijm. Laten drogen. Kleef aan de binnenkant een cuttle bug achtergrondje en sluit je kaart.

chalking step by step

Stick a template on your paper(use temporary glue). Use a fluid chalk ink pad;
Kleef een sjabloon vast op je papier (gebruik niet permanente tape). gebruik fluid chalk inkt.


use a brush to fill up the square. Start with the lightest color first. Do this with a cicular motion
gebruik een borstel (artemio nummer 6) om het rechthoekje te vullen. Start steeds met de lichtste kleur. Breng de kleur aan met een draaiende beweging.


Remove the template and start stamping.
haal je sjabloontje weg en bestempel.

Another babycard. the stamp was stamped in frost white and embossed with white powder.

I like to combine a real photo with stamps. I have colored a border with fluid chalks and stamped the text with versafine. Great technique to use for a scrap page also.

ik vind het wel eens leuk om een echte foto te kombineren met stempels. Ik heb hier een boord gemaakt met fluid chalk inkt en de tekst afgedrukt met versafine. Een leuke techniek om ook in het scrappen toe te passen.

lente/spring

Happy funky colors for this card. Stamped with versafine and colored with markers. The background circle was made with the cuttle bug.

Vrolijke kleurtjes voor dit lentekaartje. Het magnoliaatje is gestempeld met versafine en gekleurd met stempelstiften. De cirkel op de achtergrond is gemaakt met de cutlle bug.

A small stamp colored with Derwent pencils. I have colored the borders of my cardstock with alabaster(fluid chalk).

Een bloemetje ingekleurd met Derwent potloden. De randjes van mijn cardstock heb ik gekleurd met alabaster (fluid chalk).
